Beñat Ortega
Chief Executive Officer
Beñat Ortega, 42 years old and École Centrale Paris alumni, was appointed as Gecina’s Chief Executive Officer in april 2022 and as a Director of the company on 20 april 2023.
Before joining Europe’s leading office real estate group, Beñat Ortega headed up the Klépierre group’s operational activities from 2012 and played a key role in its transformation, through the portfolio’s refocusing around 120 shopping malls in Europe and an ambitious value creation and cash flow growth strategy. From 2016, he was a member of its Executive Board and Chief Operating Officer.
He previously spent nine years in Paris with the Office teams of the listed group Unibail-Rodamco.
