L1ve in the finals for the 2020 MIPIM Awards

Gecina is proud to announce that l1ve has been selected for the final phase of the MIPIM AWARDS in the Best Futura Project category. This category celebrates outstanding construction and development projects from an architectural, technical and environmental perspective. The award will be given out during the MIPIM event, the leading international real estate trade show, which will be taking place from June 2 to 5, 2020 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

Built in 1964, the iconic 75 avenue de la Grande Armée building was the avant-garde headquarters of PSA Peugeot Citroën until 2017. Its redevelopment aims to give the building a second life, while retaining its structure and facade with its standout motif, representative of its period.

Building redeveloped for the circular economy in the heart of Paris

Saving the equivalent of 394 tons of CO2 emissions by reusing 81 tons of materials, the redevelopment of this building stands out through its ambitious and groundbreaking circular economy approach. The building’s volumes are being maintained, including the monumental structure of the vast ground-floor gallery, making this a unique building at the heart of Paris.

This project has been entrusted to the architects Baumschlager Eberle Architekten.

On the major Concorde, Place de l'Étoile, Grande Armée and La Défense corridor, this 33,500 sq.m building is benefiting from the Porte Maillot redevelopment project and outstanding transport links: “Porte Maillot” station will be a major Grand Paris hub, with the RER C, RER E, Line 1 and Tramway T3b.

With l1ve, Gecina is putting people at the heart of its YouFirst brand

When it is delivered in the second quarter of 2022, the building’s occupants will benefit from a range of services: open gallery, business center, auditorium, fitness center, etc. The project also plans to create a number of green spaces. The courtyards will be transformed into a dedicated garden for users and a vast square open to the public, bringing in light through a glass roof. In addition, the building will offer 1,000 sq.m of accessible interior gardens and 1,800 sq.m of planted terraces.

Place of the vote : the "Awards Gallery" at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes

These participants and visisors will be able to vote for the project of their choice in the “Awards Gallery” from Tuesday June 10 at 09:00 to Thursday June 12 at 12:00.
