Gecina receives the Forum Immo Parité Jury’s Choice Award
At the first Forum Immo Parité event on June 26, Gecina was honored to receive the Jury’s Choice Award, highlighting its commitment and its many actions supporting gender parity and workplace equality.
Organized by Immoweek, this first Forum Immo Parité event was co-chaired by Méka Brunel, Gecina’s Chief Executive Officer, and Marc-Antoine Jamet, LVMH Group General Secretary.
It aims to recognize businesses that are committed to equal pay for equal work, innovation and corporate social responsibility. It rewards businesses from the real estate sector in three categories: startups, SMEs and large companies. A “Jury’s Choice Award”, covering all categories, is given to a company that is particularly exemplary in terms of gender parity.
This recognition highlights the actions taken by Gecina over the last few years to promote gender equality in the workplace and parity, including:
- A recognized governance policy for gender equality and diversity that leads the industry, with perfect gender parity on the Board of Directors, thanks to 50% men and 50% women, and 40% women on the Executive Committee.
- The rollout of an equal pay program, which has successfully reduced the pay gaps between men and women with equivalent skills.
- The creation of a gender diversity network led by both men and women from the company to support its equality policy.
The Trophées Immo Parité 2019 award winners were Icade (“large company” category), WeMaintain (“startup” category), Compagnie de Phalsbourg (“SME” category) and Gecina (Jury's Choice Award).
